Danny Ward also known as Big Time Sunshine is a self taught musician who specializes in piano and beat creation. Originally from Walnut Creek, California, he has now made his home in the creative hub of Venice Beach where you can find him skating between all the local venues performing his work. Known for chopping and blending soulful samples to the classic West Coast hip-hop groove, his jazzy textures and modern beat-making crafts a sound that bridges generations. Inspired from the smooth, synth-heavy funk of Bay Area legend Ant Banks, and the intricate jazz compositions of Bob James, he fabricates a style that is both nostalgic and futuristic.
